The BEG/CHTP (1996-2011) was published by CEGES/SOMA and devoted to Belgian twentieth century history with a particular focus on the two World Wars, Colonial History and historiographical debates. Each issue included an extensive section with reviews of scholarly literature ('Library'). Journal articles were published in Dutch, French and (occasionally) English. From 1996 onwards, two issues were published annually. Some of them were theme issues. BEG/CHTP was associated with the Association des Revues scientifiques et culturelles.
